- To develop football and constantly encourage, regulate and control the game all over the State of Qatar in every appropriate way which suits the Association.

- Organizing football competitions in various forms on the national level.

- To develop regulations and provisions and ensure their implementation.

- To protect the interests of its members.

- To build up friendly relations between members, clubs, officials and players. In addition to enhancing the principles of fair play along with the principles of loyalty, integrity and sportsmanship.

- Cooperate with or assist anybody or a sports club in various ways it deems the Association, particularly through the provision of advice and clarifications

-  To Provide institutional means to resolve any internal conflict that may arise among the members, clubs, officials and players of the Association.

- Respect, observe and ensure the application of the statute, regulations, directives, decisions and ethical principles established by FIFA, AFC,QNOC (if any) and QFA.

-To  Prevent any abuse or breach of the statute, regulations, directives and decisions issued by FIFA and the Asian Football Association, and the Qatar Football Association, as well as the laws of the Council of the International Football Association and to ensure that they enjoy respect of its membership and the respect of clubs, officials and players as well.

-  Prevent any behavior or practices that might prejudices the integrity of matches or competitions or which may lead to abuse the Association.

- Prepare and oversee the selection of national teams representing the State of Qatar in the Olympic Games, courses and championships on global, continental and regional levels.

- Control and supervision of all friendly matches in all forms, which is being held in various parts of the State of Qatar

-Cooperation with FIFA concerning matters associated with global competitions and other affairs linked to football, including rules and regulations that affect them.

-Host, organize, support, validate, coordinate and supervise the competitions and matches at the global and other levels as well.
